glaminia is an independent English language magazine about designer lighting: the great lamp icons and the people who designed them, lighting ideas for every room of a home or villa, terraces and gardens, lamp types, materials and craft, the technology of good light and the styles that shaped it.
Light, by design.
Our claim is a promise. Light is the most underestimated material of an interior: it decides whether a room feels calm or restless, generous or small, warm or clinical. We want to help you see light the way designers see it, and to plan it with the same care you give to furniture and colour.

What we do not do
glaminia does not sell lamps, does not rank or recommend shops, dealers or installers and does not take commissions. Designers and manufacturers are named for their history and their work, never because someone paid for it. Electrical work belongs in the hands of qualified electricians, and we say so where it matters.
